Shanghai Singapore International School (SSIS) raised an incredible 65,000RMB for Stepping Stones. The fundraiser took place at the International Family Bazaar on Saturday, November 14.
The whole school participated in the “Super Run” runathon, which raised 48,000RMB! The rest of the funds were raised by the senior school, who organized games for the event. They raised 17,000RMB from these games, which rounded out the funds to 65,000RMB.
All of these funds will go towards Stepping Stones I Care Project, which provides eyeglasses and eye surgeries to students at thirteen migrant schools around Shanghai. The 65,000RMB will certainly go a long way in providing necessary eye care to these children. Thank you to SSIS for your dedication to Stepping Stones’ mission and your amazing contribution!
