On a chilly winter evening, a warm and meaningful autumn volunteer appreciation party was successfully held as scheduled.
The scene of the party was lively and full of warmth. The fun icebreaker game, “Post-its of Happiness, Sadness, and Surprise”, helped everyone quickly become familiar with each other, filling the air with laughter and joy.
After the enthusiastic opening by Ms. Corinne Hua, the founder of Stepping Stones, led everyone in reviewing the autumn semester. With each set of reports and snapshots of teaching moments, the dedication and hard work of the volunteers in various programs were highlighted. From the development of offline and online English courses, to the implementation of the digital literacy program, and the execution of the social-emotional learning program, each story shared seemed to open a door to a journey of giving. In addition, we invited several volunteers and interns to share their personal stories with Stepping Stones, which resonated deeply with many people in the audience.
The performance segment was truly dazzling. The children from our service centre performed lively songs and recently popular dances, while the volunteers spontaneously grabbed the mic and joined in a fun karaoke session.
The beautiful moments was captured, with warm smiles on everyone’s faces.
As the party drew to a close, the lucky draw pushed the atmosphere to a climax, with fortunate winners receiving delightful surprises.
