Stepping Stones celebrated a successful summer program held during July and August 2011 at 5 schools and communities center through Shanghai. Approximately 95 hardworking volunteers delivered English lessons to 225 students each week throughout the summer months which is an extraordinary number and our largest summer program to date. Stepping Stones would like to thank all of the dedicated volunteers who participated in each program, creating fun and interactive lessons for the students to enjoy during their summer months. Feedback from the schools and community centers simply confirms that we have amazing volunteers who continue to bring English to life for these young migrant students and aim to provide a better future for each through increased interest and confidence in English language abilities.
